Hmm..somehow this would have held more credibility if there was..err..a non-Microsoft person involved - like someone from the Linux world

Actually, considering how fanatical most linux loonies are it is probably better to have an outsider's opinion. Especially when the outsiders represent the greatest software development organization in history.

Pathetic sales attempt. Microsoft needs better Salesmen. The whole idea can only be shoved down a fool's throat - and money doesn't go hand-in-hand with a fool. So for this foolish strategy to be of any help - Microsoft will have to sell for free for the other fools to be able to buy it.
