Infragistics Is Looking for GREAT Students

Infragistics, Inc. is currently seeking bright, self-motivated team players for a variety of open positions 
Infragistics is the market leader in providing a broad range of presentation layer development tools and services for building applications utilizing Microsoft .NET, COM, and Java environments. Over the past 15 years, Infragistics has received over 220 product awards and industry vendor of the year awards from market-leading publications and resellers. Infragistics' diverse product line for Windows Forms, ASP.NET, Tablet PC, COM, and Java environments are used worldwide in nearly every Fortune 2000 Company and by 200,000 independent developers and consultants.

Our environment is casual, jeans and sneakers (or shorts and flip flops in the summer). All of our technical positions are eligible for a Microsoft certification program.

Corporate Content Driver

  • Continually edit and generate new content for Infragistics.com.  Additional responsibilities are comprised of working with the Directors of Marketing, Sales and Evangelism to identify opportunities, gather information, and create error free documents including but not limited to: business value & technical white papers, case study documents, technical articles, email newsletters, product brochures, sales letters, and various collateral material.
  • Proficient programming skills in C# .NET, ASP.NET, as well as the ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of one or more of the following : JavaScript, Java, COM, VB.NET

Evangelist

  • Be very technically savvy, and have excellent .NET knowledge in C# and Visual Basic .NET (MVP preferred)
  • Previous MCT - Microsoft Certified Trainer - or training capability preferred
  • Present at Conferences, Trade Shows and User Groups on .NET technologies or Infragistics technologies

Documentation Specialist

  • Be able to write simple C# and/or Visual Basic .NET applications
  • Be able to read and decipher C# and/or Visual Basic .NET applications
  • Writing technical documentation on Infragistics products

Developer Support
Knowledge, ability and desire to learn/apply MORE on any of the following (listed in order of importance): C#, VB.NET, VB6, VC++, Web dev (ASP.NET, ASP, XML, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML). Client- and server-side component methodology.

  • Learn our presentation-layer elements inside and out - through source code and within applications - from planning/beta to release and beyond. Troubleshoot customer questions (via phone and email), create sample apps, QA testing, edit/write KB articles, juggle the latest languages/programming environments (and, if you can, write quality technical articles.   We can even get you published!)

Quality Assurance
Quality Assurance Analyst with software development skills needed. This position requires the ability to learn quickly, effectively multi-task and write code to test our presentation layer components. Utilize your knowledge of Quality Assurance methods to create test cases and design test applications based on use cases to exercise our components

  • 2+ years experience coding in C#.NET, ASP.NET, as well as one or more of the following: JavaScript, Java, VB6, VC++, COM, DHTML, XML, VB.NET.
  • A basic understanding of QA processes and methods
  • Hands-on experience with short software development product cycles
  • Strong analytical, problem identification/solving, reporting, and communications skills.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
