More Interview Questions

After looking at some of the other bloggers that had linked to my interview posts I ran across a great post filled with lots of great .NET Interview Questions. I have gone through various other technical interviews lately not including the Microsoft one and I must say these questions are clearly in line with some of the ones I was asked. If you are contemplating interviewing for a technical .NET role I would highly recommend reviewing some of these questions. I am not trying to say go out and memorize the answers, but instead find out how to explain the answer to a non-technical person. In figuring out how to explain the answer rather then give the answer you will find that you learn a lot more and will be much more valuable to the company you are interviewing for.

My advice for a Microsoft interview would be this; be ready to *think*. Think of a pasty chef... If you were to hire a pastry chef, would you want to hire the person that has memorized the best way to bake a cake? Or would you want to hire the person who knows how leavening agents work and can build an entirely new kind of pastry? When you're interviewing, be ready to *think* in creative ways. Think in non-linear ways. Expect questions that you'd never expect.
