Expression Web Update and Other News

Greetings from Redmond!

By now, I’m sure many of you are aware that Expression Web is now included as a core offering within MSDN Subscriptions. The English language version is currently available on MSDN Subscriber Downloads and we expect to offer French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Traditional Chinese language versions of Expression Web on MSDN Subscriber Downloads by the end of the month or early next. Expression Blend is also anticipated to be made available shortly after its upcoming release.

With several thousand downloads requested in the few days since we’ve made Expression Web available on MSDN Subscriber Downloads, it’s already proving to be a popular download.

While I’m pleased with the recent decision to begin including Expression Web and other Expression software products within MSDN Subscriptions, I also appreciate your support and encouragement (read “feedback”) that helped to facilitate this decision. We value the input of our subscribers greatly and want to ensure that MSDN Subscriptions delivers everything you need in a subscription software service.

New! Top Subscriber Downloads Functionality

I’m excited to announce that we’ve introduced some new functionality on the MSDN Subscriptions homepage. Rather than navigating through our directory structure to locate one of more than 5,000 downloads available on MSDN Subscriber Downloads, you’ll be able to simply click from a list of Top Subscriber Downloads to initiate the download directly.

We welcome your feedback on this new functionality and look forward to bringing you further enhancements to your download experience in the coming months.
