IS amazing how things accelerated lately. Things like Internet, that is still new for some
people it has its own history
With the launch of IE8 we have a fun video with some of the history, features and more
IE8 is not a new version of the browser, it’s a full platform. This is why IE8 is cool:
- I like the Compatibility view: you can use the latest version and can browse any website, if it doesn’t look good just click the compatibility view and your good.
- You're a visual learner: See pictures of what you’re looking for as you type in the Instant Search box – rich search results in action!
- Customization: As of this morning there are over 1,200 Web Slices, Accelerators, and add-ons available worldwide in the IE8 add-on gallery. I can tell you in a year, there will be more than 10k
- Good memory: To quickly find sites you’ve visited before, simply use the new Smart Address Bar which searches your history, favorites, and feeds.
- I like the InPrivate: Enjoy more control over your personal information and privacy on the Web with InPrivate.
- Security: Internet Explorer 8 is 10 times safer than Internet Explorer 7.
- Resurrection : If one tab crashes, you can re-launch it without affecting your browsing experience – your other tabs keep right on working.
