Just announced! Microsoft Office Partner Subsidy Promotion through Open License and Open Value! Up to $30,000!!

Hot off the presses for everyone out there.  We are just announcing a Partner Subsidy Promotion for Microsoft Office through the Open Licensing Programs to run from August 1, 2007 – January 31, 2008.  The way it works is quite simple.  Your customers purchase Microsoft Office through the Open License Programs and they receive a check from Microsoft to pay for your Partner services to help them install, deploy, train, use, etc. the Microsoft solution they just acquired.  How much do they get?  The amount is determined by how many licenses they purchase and which program they purchase through.  Below is a chart showing the amounts:

Office Subsidy Chart

As you can see:

·         Every Office Enterprise Edition License only (L) purchased through Open Business qualifies for $60

·         Every Office Enterprise Edition License & Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased through Open Business qualifies for $125

·         Every Office Enterprise Edition License & Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased through Open Value qualifies for $150

·         Every Office Professional Plus License only (L) purchased through Open Business qualifies for $50

·         Every Office Professional Plus License & Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased through Open Business qualifies for $100

·         Every Office Professional Plus License & Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased through Open Value qualifies for $125

·         Every Office Small Business License only (L) purchased through Open Business qualifies for $40

·         Every Office Small Business License & Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased through Open Business qualifies for $80

·         Every Office Small Business License & Software Assurance (L&SA) purchased through Open Value qualifies for $100

The minimum purchase to qualify will be five (5) Office licenses or L&SA and the maximum you can qualify on is 200 Office licenses or L&SA total per customer.

As you can see, adding Software Assurance increases the subsidy amount and acquiring through Open Value provides the highest Partner subsidy.  The full details on the offer will be posted to the Microsoft Incentives website shortly (I think Tuesday).  Be sure to check them out to learn all about this great offer.  If you are at Worldwide Partner Conference this week, you may see the promotional flyers being handed out throughout the week.

Also, please note the amount offered for each Office Small Business purchased through Open Value is $100 each.  What‘s included in the Small Business Desktop Advantage?  That’s right, Office Small Business.  So before the question comes in, I’ll answer it here…  YES, the Microsoft Small Business Desktop Advantage does qualify for this promotion and it provides a subsidy of $100 for each Small Business Desktop Advantage purchased!  For those attending my session on Monday in the Small Business Symposium, you will hear from two SBSC Partners about how they have use the Small Business Desktop Advantage and/or the rebates available to drive their businesses.

Thank you and have a wonderful day,
