Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 update package and release notes now available

Since its release, Windows Home Server has been a topic of conversation among many looking to add a rich experience to home networks and more. Now, Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 has been released to manufacturing (RTM) and is now available on the Microsoft Download Center.

Power Pack 1 fixes the data corruption bug as well as delivers significant new functionality including:

  • x64 support for home computers running Windows Vista
  • Home Server Shared Folder backup
  • Improved remote access experience
  • Improvements to power consumption and performance
  • Localization support for Japan and China
