I can imagine this will make a lot of System Builders very, very happy and a lot of end users very, very upset (seeing as it was common to purchase a $5 microphone online to get the massively discounted OEM software).  Then again, this might increase piracy rate of windows if the non-OEM price is over the threshold of what someone is willing to pay before they resort to piracy.<BR><BR>REPLY (Posted by Eric Ligman): Even under the former System Builder Agreement, a microphone did not qualify to purchase OEM software since a microphone is not  "non-peripheral hardware" item.  This would not be considered a legitimate  purchase and based on the terms of the OEM Product EULA, you would not be able to legally use the OEM Software product you purchased with the microphone.  Again, this type of confusion is one reason for the change.
