I work as a software design engineer with Microsoft's Speech Server group. My areas of focus is the project system and the new dialog flow designer.

I'll try to add information on some of the work that i have been doing in this area. However being a newbie, i might make some mistakes here and there.. so please bear with me while i catch up with the blogging world.

For today i'll just speak a little bit on the project templates.

With Speech Server 2005 , the templates to create a new speech application uses the new VSTEMPLATES mechanism. I was very happy to see the new xml based templates compared to the older ones ( .vsz and .vsdir ). Adding a wizard capability is very easy. We have added project templates and item templates for most of the speech items. If you would like to see any improvements with the speech templates.... kindly let us know. We would love to hear from you.
