I am a Platform Strategy Advisor on the Singapore DPE (that's Developer & Platform Evangelism) team. In this role, I have the honor and pleasure to work with Customers and Partners to jointly realize the business value with the Microsoft technology stack.

This blog should function as a resource to help meet my job's goals. I hope to share opinions, information about current and upcoming technology innovations that I'm excited about (Microsoft's and otherwise), hopefully, with a business slant. For example, my current interests are in the areas of user experience, service-oriented architectures, smart clients, Microsoft Office and of course, .NET 3.0 as they relate to the enterprise application space. If time permits, I'd also like to throw in some code samples as well... (can't have Chewy Chong and Stanley Tan monopolize all the fun smile_regular.) Of course, I appreciate any feedback to help shape the content so it'll be more useful and relevant to

I also hope to use this corner in cyberspace (man, that's so early '90s... are we still using this term? ) to share insights of Microsoft from the inside as appropriate. This is a place with many smart and humorous people so I'd like to do my part to share our enthusiasm and fun-loving aspects. I generally try to keep personal topics off this blog, but I do have a private space at http://wongkyn.spaces.live.com, so you're welcome to head over there if you should want to learn about my family and other non-work interests.

I joined Microsoft Singapore at the very end of 2006, which is/was (depending on when you read this snippet) a very exciting time for the industry.  The road ahead should continue to be a rewarding one indeed!
