Virtual Earth Updates
There are some amazing things continually happening on the VE platform, typically surfacing in local.live.com of course.
Keep an eye on the VE blog for the latest. How about this shot of the Leaning Tower of Pisa for example, delivered via the Birds Eye functionality - more cities being added all the time.
Also there is a new Tech Preview that has Street Level walking and driving views - yes, almost unreal but you can now see where this is all going.

Finally, this blog entry highlights some new features in the recent release (anyone note how easy it is to deploy new releases - the world of SaaS !) - such as measuring distances between points. You can also send travel routes from your desktop to your mobile phone.
