One of the biggest MOSS live sites so far ?

Via Mark Harrison:

"You don't get any bigger than this - the UK National Health Service go live on MOSS 2007 Web CM : http://www.nhs.uk/
The new portal aims to empower the public to make better use of NHS services.
All content management capabilities and content searching is provided by Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. The site provides geographic location of local NHS services using Microsoft Virtual Earth (http://www.nhs.uk/ServiceDirectories)
This first phase of the site, conforms to WCAG 1.0 AA (and in parts to AAA), they are going through some refinements to make it AAA compliant throughout. New and enhanced information services are being developed and will be available later in the year.
The delivery of the site involved LBi, Dr. Foster Intelligence, Department of Health and various technology partners."

Update: note the comments on Mark's blog - some disagreement about what 'biggest' means in this context. According to its Wikipedia entry, the NHS is the 4th largest employer in the world and had a budget of GBP104 billion in 2007-8. I'd therefore agree with Mark - by any sense of the word, to have the NHS go live with MOSS as their main website, is a hugely significant demonstration to other customers that MOSS can be deployed to the very largest and complex organisations. No question is this one of the 'biggest' MOSS live sites in terms of global significance.
