&lt;P&gt;The Silverlight controls announced today don’t exist in WPF just yet but have been written in a way that can be easily ported to WPF.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The &lt;A href="http://www.codeplex.com/wpf/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=15598" mce_href="http://www.codeplex.com/wpf/Release/ProjectReleases.aspx?ReleaseId=15598"&gt;WPF Toolkit&lt;/A&gt; includes out-of-band releases of high-quality WPF controls and features. Many of these will be rolled back into the platform with the next .NET Framework release.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;LI&gt;DataGrid &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;DatePicker/Calendar &lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;VisualStateManager (VSM)
