Haere ra, Informed Architect Program...
Some news came in while I was on holiday about the demise of the Informed Architect program, and I'm just getting around to action it now. The IA program, run and administered out of Redmond, provided selected architects in our global architecture community with special access to content, materials and the odd bit of software.
It seemed like a good idea at the time, but it turns out that trying to run a global 'architecture' community from the US wasn't the best approach - in particular, problems of getting resources allocated globally, cultural issues, and of course the ever-present tyrrany of not-everyone-being-in-the-same-timezone led the IA administrators to make the decision to retire the program.
IA relationships are now being handled at the local level, so if you are an Aussie or Kiwi IA and wondered what happened to the site, or you are after resources, or answers, or someone to talk to about this, ping me via the contact form on my blog.
