December interim community drop of EntLib for FX2.0 released

The EntLib team have released an interim drop of EntLib for FX2.0.  This release is source only - i.e. no docs or MSI's - but does include the long-awaited new configuration tool.  This drop is a near-complete version of the final release... according to Tom's blog, they are code-complete on most blocks with the exception of the crypto block which they are focussing on now.  I expect we aren't too far from the final release of this version of EntLib - all good.

[Update] - there will be an architecture webcast on the next release of EntLib, happening Thursday 8th December 10.00AM PST - which means Friday 7.00AM NZ time, 5.00AM Eastern Aus and 2.00AM West Aus.   Or you could just watch it on demand after the fact :)  Blurb from the team:

So what's this Configuration Source thing meant to be? Why do you have so many kinds of factories? How can I reuse the instrumentation capabilities in my own app? What's different in the new Configuration Designtime?  Get the answers to these and many more questions at the Enterprise Library for .NET Framework 2.0: Core Architecture webcast. It's on this coming Thursday, December 8th at 10:00am US Pacific Time / 18:00 UTC.
