Dr Gordon Bell Architecture Council audio/slides available online
During May, industry legend and DEC Vax inventor Dr Gordon Bell spoke at the Microsoft Architecture Councils in Australia and New Zealand.  Gordon is a senior researcher in the Microsoft Silicon Valley Center’s eSciences group, San Francisco, CA., and a Visiting Professor at the Macquarie University Institute for Innovation in Sydney.  Since 2000, he has worked on MyLifeBits, a system for capturing everything of a person’s life.   Gordon’s Architecture Council talk addressed how advances in computer hardware were driving the formation of new and very interesting classes of computing and application innovation.

The slides from the Sydney Council are available here (around 9.5M), and you can listen to the audio of the Sydney Architecture Council here (around 14M).
