Wouter van Vugt stopped by the Office development booth at TechEd Developer. The name sounded familiar and it turned out he had submitted speaking proposals on Open XML for ODC 2008 in response to my earlier call for proposals on the blog.

He's also the author of the "Open XML Explained" ebook, available from http://openxmldeveloper.org/articles/1970.aspx.
