Hello All..I am Karthik and I am the track owner for the ODC 08 Architecture track. I am an Architect in the Platform Architecture team within the Developer & Platforms Evangelism group in Microsoft.
We have a great session lineup in place for the Architecture Track. This track is targeted at Solution Architects who work on (or) are interested in learning about building compelling Information Worker solutions on the Microsoft Office System. Many well recognized external speakers from the Office Development community and Microsoft Architects are currently investing many hours of effort to shape and deliver the best possible sessions in this track. The goal for the track is to make it the one stop shop that Solution Architects can follow from start to finish to gain the core knowledge that they need to effectively lead IW Solution development projects on the Microsoft Platform.
The following is a listing of the currently planned breakout sessions:
- An Architectural Overview of the Microsoft Office System and Office Business Applications (OBAs)
- Architectural Patterns for Integrating LOB Systems with the Microsoft Office System
- Architectural Patterns for BPM in OBAs
- Architectural Patterns for BI in OBAs
- OBA User Experience Patterns
- Building Secure and Scalable OBAs
- Architectural Patterns to address Compliance and Regulatory requirements in OBAs
- The OBA SDLC - Notes from the field
- Composite OBAs - The Microsoft Office System as a Composite Applications Platform
In addition to the breakout sessions, there will also be many less formal opportunities to network with the speakers and other folks from the community.
