Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 are now available to MSDN and Technet subscribers

As of 9:00 AM PST today, 14 language versions of the following products:

  • Office Professional Plus 2010
  • SharePoint Server 2010
  • Visio Premium 2010
  • Project Professional 2010

are now available to MSDN and Technet subscribers at the Ultimate and Premium levels.

Subscribers can download the products immediately from MSDN Subscriber Downloads. This release marks an incredible new wave of products that developers can begin using immediately. In addition, this is the first time the Project Professional is available for production use to subscribers, which is a significant new benefit. Office 2010 products should be available for internal Microsoft use later this month.

Important: The Office Professional Plus 2010, Visio Premium 2010, and Project Professional 2010 products can be used for production on one device per subscriber. All products can also be used for development and testing.

To ensure our product key systems have adequate capacity to handle subscribers, initially we will only offer two product keys per product via MSDN Subscriber Downloads. We expect to raise the limit to 10 keys per product within the next week, which is the customary limit. As always, subscribers can contact MSDN Customer Service if they have exhausted the activations on the keys provided and need additional keys.
