About Office OFFline
Office OFFline is a comic/blog ("clog?") about technology and personal computers. The comic strips are created with Microsoft Office Visio 2007. You can read more about how the strips are created in "Drawing a daily comic strip with Visio" on Office Online.
The web comic debuted on October 18, 2007. New comic strips are posted every weekday, usually by 10 a.m. Pacific time.
The comic regularly features wry observations about Microsoft Office and other Microsoft products. The characters in the comic spend much of their time discussing how they use and misuse technology, forming the basis of the humor in the comic. Other themes include software developement, marketing, management, and personal relationships. The comic also sometimes refers to philosophy and art.
There are few storylines and very little continuity in the comic. The characters themselves continue to evolve.
