The annual Microsoft/Accenture Upstream Oil and Gas Survey results were posted this month.  The report is available at https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/news/presskits/industries/manufacturing/docs/UpstreamSoftwareSolutions2011.pdf.

We are seeing a bigger emphasis on integrating data across multiple engineering disciplines and a big need for better tools to find data.  As we heard at Global Energy Forum, Cyber Security is hot topic in terms of both adoption and overall importance.
