MobyDock (Mac OS X style dock for Windows)

MobyDock is a cool application. It's the best Mac OS X dock knock off I have used on Windows. The animations are smooth, and the application is just pretty. On top of that they have a nice product web page which is good sign of quality software.

Crappy or ugly web sites are a good way to tell if a particular piece of shareware isn't worth installing. There is no shortage of those.

Nice LOOKING site, but it hasn't been updated since November 12, 2003.

So they may get +1 for having a pretty website, but in my opinion, they get a -2 for not keeping it updated. Makes me think the product has been abandoned. And since they are only offering a 0.87 version, it doesn't give me a lot of confidence that we will ever see a 1.0.

Yeah, it looks great. Sadly, Moby seems to have stopped work on it. Last update was almost a year ago.

Odds are he got pressure from Apple. Moby came out with this around the same time that Y'z Dock was around (I always thought Y'z was slightly better) and Apple came down on him pretty hard - put up a snap shot of the letter Apple sent him and disappeared from online...
