SearchVoIP.com.au launching soon in Australia

I did a forty minute interview with Adam Turner he is writing for the local (soon to be launched) www.searchvoip.com.au which is modelled on the successful www.searchvoip.com from the USA.

The focus of the interview was “Presence”.

Adam had a good understanding of the concept prior to the interview and we covered of the impact of SIP on customers, presence between organisations (federation) and the importance of all industry players working together to deliver end to end solutions for their customers.

Adam asked me a question I have never been asked before. He asked me about my background and roles prior to UC at Microsoft, including my work at PeopleSoft and Vodafone.

Key lesson for me, it’s easier talking about UC than it is talking about me.
