Highlighting Australian MVPs who work on the Office System
Lucy Thomson , Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor
Lucy set up 'an easier tomorrow' in 2006 with two goals: to rid South Australia of bad PowerPoint and to raise the bar on I.T. training. A passionate speaker and advocate of PowerPoint, her work has been seen on the international conference stage, been used for international tenders and has even been known to get a standing ovation in the tricky after lunch slot. An enthusiastic trainer who fell into I.T. (unlike most I.T. trainers who come the other way) Lucy brings a couple of things to computer training many have never experienced in that context before - relevance and fun.
Lucy was born & raised in Leicester (England), spent a year in Zhongshan (China) teaching English, moved to Edinburgh (Scotland) and now lives in Adelaide (Australia). She is hoping to pass her citizenship test and claim Australian citizenship in 2008 so that she finally has a cricket team worth supporting.
