I have Outlook 2007

I use Quest/MSN as my ISP with Hotmail availabilty

My Outlook profile is set up as HTTP

I have spent over 12 hours on the phone with 4 different MS technicians trying to get this problem fixed - CASE # 1096975062. The last tech, Karunakaran Patrick, re-installed Office twice, created a new Outlook Profle, disabled my virus software, tested to make sure MSN Hotmail could send the same message (sent OK), retested Outlook with a large file multiple times and finally agreed that there was nothing that could be done to solve the problem - told me to fill out the survey and hopefully someone whould look into the problem.

One of the last entries into the Outblog before it was closed to new entries (Why closed?) dated 8/5/08 said you were trying to better understand the issue which implies you are working on fixing it.

PLEASE HELP - where are you on this? Will the Feb CU fix this problem or is there something else coming?

It occasionally froze for 5-10 seconds just to open an email with small attachment with harddisk spinning around. BTW, I have Outlook Live Connector installed.

Some users are reporting that the February CU is failing to install with "error code 40".

To fix this, try running the update as the administrator (Right click on the update, choose Run as Administrator) -- that could fix the problem.
