Today, Microsoft Australia is pleased to announce Paul Voges as the newly appointed Small and Midmarket Sales & Partner Director (SMS&P). Paul comes to the business having a wealth of sales and services experience. In his five years with Microsoft, Paul has been in customer & partner facing roles including sales, sales management and more recently as the Services Director. 

Pip Marlow has moved into the position of Public Sector Director and the transition of SMS&P to Paul’s leadership will commence immediately.

I met with Richard White, the CEO of CargoWise again a couple of months ago to film two videos.  The first video above describes their supply chain software & solutions based on Microsoft technology providing full integration across departments to more than 1,150 customers with 33,000 users from all over the world.  Richard also talks about the Microsoft Partner Program benefits of most use to his business.

The second video below explains the benefits of being an early adopter of Windows Server 2008; SQL Server 2008 and Visual Studio 2008 and how this creates new opportunities for his business.

Each year Microsoft recognises partners who have delivered exemplary solutions built on Microsoft technologies at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference.  This year the Conference will be held in Houston during 7-11 July 2008.  Nominations for the Partner Awards will only be accepted from those solutions that appear in the Partner Solution Profiler Tool and for those Partners who have earned the relevant Microsoft Partner Program Competency and Specialisation.
