You write "we have enjoyed designing/developing/testing it for you!" Youre not serious - are you? I assume you mean M$ when you say "we"??

This is a strange behavior that I did not notice mentioned in any of my searches and I can't imagine that I would be the only one to run into this. Within my solution I created Strongly Typed DataSet, a couple of classes and a wrapper for the dataset to translate between the data structures and object instance data. The intended use for these objects is in a web project, so I created a new web site project as part of my solution. once this was in place, the Class View would not display the "Create instance" option for any of the classes in my class library project. When I removed the Web project from the solution, I could use OTB again. I don't know if this is a known bug, an unknown bug, or by design, but if it is known, nobody has mentioned it(at leats not in my searching for a reason).

Hi Andrew... I believe once you add web project. It becomes the start up project. And OTB menus will not be enabled for unsupported startup projects.
In your case, can you please set the class library as the start up project (right click in Class View on Class Library project and "Set as Startup Project") and try again?
In any case I have forwarded this issue to the OTB team and they will get back to you on this tread.

And apparently this same feature has been part of BlueJ for more than 6 year !!!

You guys should have the courtesy of giving credit to where credit is due.

Though it does look very much like this could be a duplicate of the BlueJ system even I in my short time programming have found that its very easy to not know what is already developed.

I would not go down the lines of accusing the engineers of copying but I am glad Microsoft has dropped its pattern case now it has definitely been made away of the 'prio art' produced by BlueJ.
