I really wish you hadn't tried to patent this (at least 20 years) old idea. Go grab an arbitrary Smalltalk system. Open a workspace.

Recognize it? There have been various extensions over the years to add graphics to that tool as well, and the existing one in VisualWorks can browse code, modify code, invoke the debugger, and view/modify attributes (instance variables).

Why do you think this idea is something that can be patented?

Ward Cunningham and Kent Beck did things very much like this in the 1980s with the Diagramming Debugger and Object Explorer inspector. See...
