After getting a taste of the things to come in Windows Vista, by loading IE7 and the new Windows Media Player 11, I took the leap and rebuilt my laptop with the 5381 Beta 2 build. I was a little worried that I was going to have to ghost my machine back to XP, but after 3 days now, I am happy to report that I dont think I will ever go back to XP! All the software that I need to run works like a champ. That includes SQL 2005, Office 2007, Visual Studio 2005 and some other developer tools I use. Perhaps the single thing that really grabs your attention is the Gadget Bar.

I cant wait to start posting my new gadgets that I have in mind. If you have not seen the new UI, you are in for a nice surprise. Don't walk, run and get this loaded when it launches. I will be posting more on my adventures with Vista Soon. Just another thing to make me more IC.
