From Ireland: a little bit of this and a little bit of that
This is a great little tool that has been in beta for a long time :). I haven’t seen its release been discussed in any blogs (or at least the ones that I read).
It covers a lot of the low hanging fruit, those small little things that can creep into a DB by accident and can go unnoticed for a while.
e.g. Database File compression, file placement, configuration options, naming conventions of objects of certain types etc....
I look forward to seeing how it evolves.
