Books of the Month!
Well I don't know about you, but I usually get through several technical books each month.
Some I read cover to cover, others I flick through and then there are of course those books which gather dust and are purely for show - I mean reference!
Anyway I thought it would be interesting every month or so, to pass comment on good books I have read. Maybe I will get a comment or two from you on good books you have read also. There is nothing more annoying than paying an astronomical amount of money for a book, only to find it is a lemon.
So some good titles I have read recently, in no particular order:
1. A First Look at SQL Server 2005 for Developers, Addison Wesley
2. The .NET Developers Guide to Windows Security, Addison Wesley
3. Writing Secure Code 2nd Edition, Microsoft Press
4. Windows Internals Fourth Edition, Microsoft Press
One I have just ordered, which has been recommended - Programming Indigo, Microsoft Press
I'd love to make this a regular feature and the more feedback I get from you, the more valuable this feature will be.
Thanks in advance for your feedback - Paul.
