The buzz is abounding. First around cloud computing. Worker Thread’s Derek has noticed the interest as has Ubrgeek. Interest in the future of programming languages dominated the conversations by Harry Pierson and Dan Fernandez with the announcement of new sessions covering topics such as: Introduction to F#; Dynamic Language Runtime; Future of VB; VC++ 10 is the new 6; Architecture with VSTS Rosario, Data Modeling for the Cloud, and more. An Information Week article and related blog posts described how impressive the work to build a world-class infrastructure for S+S really is . Top IKVM.NET Jeroen Frijters has announced he’s attending. More topic suggestions are being commented on PDC Content Owner Mike Swanson's blog. Aeroexperience predicts "much of the UI goodness from the early Longhorn prototypes could wind up in Windows 7." A DE in Germany suggests that PDC is a great opportunity to network and Cincinnati .NET Users Group advised members to register early for PDC and take of this huge opportunity to hear about the future of the Microsoft platform.
