IE8. Yep, it officially has a name now. Check out the post from Dean on the IE blog. I've uploaded the new VPC images and am just waiting for them to propagate through the severs, now.

MSDN Blog Postings » "IE8" and VPC's

PingBack from http://msdnrss.thecoderblogs.com/2007/12/05/ie8-and-vpcs/

re: "IE8" and VPC's

The whole web development world is sitting on the edge of their seats salivating.
> how does one get the VPC?

You can download a copy of Virtual PC 2007 for free from the official Microsoft website.

re: "IE8" and VPC's

You have to be the WORST product manager, ever. Internet Explorer is dead software, the only reason it has such a market share is because Microsoft forces it down peoples' throats by integrating it with Windows. You can't even defend your own product. Pathetic.

re: "IE8" and VPC's

Why are the VPC's in wrapped up in an .exe?? I develop on a Mac and would love to be able to test IE6/IE7. I have VPC for OSX. Why don't you guys just put the virtual disk images in a neutral format, instead of putting it inside a self-extracting executable? It seems like a pointless barrier set up that is easily removed.

re: "IE8" and VPC's

Pete, I know how to obtain VPC, I should have been more specific.
