SQL Server on Windows 7

SQL Server is supported on Windows 7, but you may need to apply the latest Service Pack level to be supported.    Here are the supported products and SP levels: SQL Server 2005: SP3 is required SQL Server 2008: SP1 is required SQL Server 2008

SQL Server 2005 SP3 Microsoft Update release for Windows 7

On June 23rd, 2009 the following SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (SP3) updates will be available for Windows 7 through Microsoft Update (MU).    Update Name Available through Automatic Update Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3 (KB955706)
