Thanks for sharing gr8 knowledge in blog.

Its helped us a lot as its explaing step by step.

I have just one confusion in my mind...

what it means by "\\ServerName\FolderName\*" in Batch file? "ServerName" is it sharepoint server and if yes ? then which "FolderName" are you referring to.

"\\ServerName" is the one where your assemblies are located. It's not the Share Point server name.

=> then what is the difference between?

"\\ServerName\FolderName\*" and "\\DeployServer\ShareFolder\*" (here where we publishing VSTO project)

=> then which server we need to put as "ServerName"?

is this something diffent then "DeployServer"?

=> is there any advantage for following step in batch file?

Hi,

well i have followed your steps, but i get "Failed to grant permissions to execute" error everytime i open the vsto docment from sharepoint document library.

vsto document assembly - \\myserver\vstoshare\

word document - http://mywssserver/.../documentlib/

when i open the doc from it's bin\debug location it works, but not from it's published location, same error as when opened from sharepoint.

I have added the assembly path (file share) to LocalIntranet_Zone, and also the sharepoint site.

if is possible to create Document level add-in for Word 2007 using Visual Studio Tools for Office 2005 SE

by VS2005?
