Downloading was a royal pain though. Would have been nice to have one simple file to download rather than:

- Having it fail to download in Firefox, which required opening IE and re-navigating to the webpage.

- Having to install an Office-specific ActiveX control then run it to see whether my Office install was genuine.

- Having to download each of the 8 files individually.

Seriously?

Templates so cool, I want to make a presentation

Saw these cool PowerPoint templates have been tagged in a number of blogs, originally listed at the PowerPoint

Office ownership is required to access this content and an ActiveX control is downloaded to manage that confirmation and handle the download. Unfortunately Firefox and Chrome don't support ActiveX so they can't be used in this process.

I'll send the feedback to the responsible parties about getting the whole thing in one download though. That sounds like a no-brainer to me. Thanks.

And a shout out and finger point at Wayne who is an ex-PPT developer and author of "Advanced Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007." An article, interview, and links to the book is at:
