The TIOBE Programming Community Index provides a monthy rating of the popularity of programming languages. This month's headline was:

I'm not sure how they rate popularity or how they came up with that title (given that right now we are at 36) but I liked the headline!

Only a month ago PowerShell was #46 there, now it is #36. Nice progress, that’s what makes them think “PowerShell on its way to the top 20”, I guess.
