<p>(client side actions such as release/renew of leases etc is already well supported from WMI)? There is no WMI management class for DHCP (a problem outstanding for many years) and I don't believe there are even any published APIs. I'd like to be able to script DHCP work (eg transferring hundreds of reservations from one scope to another when a subnet is replaced)among other things. You can achieve a limited amount with NETSH DHCP but formulating command strings for this and then parsing the output does seem a bit archaic! Perhaps the DHCP team could be given a nudge to produce a suitable WMI class at last?</p>
