Community Work in Action
Oftentimes our testing of the MSDN Product Feedback Center cannot cover all the different environments that our users have. It’s so cool that a customer not only reported an issue to us, but also figured out what environment setting caused it, AND returned to the site to post a workaround for it!
Several customers for the past week reported (using the contact-us link at the site of course) that they cannot submit a suggestion/bug because step 1 would send them back to the homepage. We’ve been trying very hard to repro and to track down the problem, but with little luck. Today Chris, a developer on the MSDN team, found that another customer who ran into the same problem has figured out a workaround! Thanks to this customer’s workaround, we were able to repro, and are now investigating a fix…
