Great sample app! Thanks for taking the time to put it together and package it up.

You might want to mention that the current (Feb2006) default Microsoft.DirectX.dll doesn't include XInput and that you have to use the Beta version of the .dll which is located in a directory such as

C:\Program Files\Microsoft DirectX SDK (February 2006)\Developer Runtime\Beta\x86\DirectX for Managed Code\Microsoft.DirectX.DLL

Hi,

Is it possible to create a simple application that would actually run on the XBOX 360 off a CD?

For example, can you burn a CD with a simple program, like a painting program, and have it load and run on the XOBX or XBOX 360?

Hi Mike,

No, this example only works on windows and only workes with the wired controller.
