Tom Raftery

Tom Raftery is a social media consultant and influential blogger from the lovely Cork in Ireland and Steve Clayton caught up with him at Mix 07 to find out if this Microsoft "critic" was impressed with what he saw at the conference.

Silverlight was a hot topic and its features including the streaming of high quality video all with a small footprint download.  Of particular note was Top Banana - video editing software from the geniuses that are Metaliq - not only can this app manipulate and present multiple video files on the fly within the browser but it all comes in a 50k download which is somewhat spectacular!  It's well worth watching Ray Ozzie's keynote speech just for that demo.
