New version of POS and RMS released !

At the National Retail Federation Annual Convention & Expo in New York city today, Steve Ballmer announced the general availability of our Point of Sale V2.0 and Dynamics Retail Management System V2.0. These are fantastic products that build on the success of the last version. A tremendous amount of innovation went into each with strong focus on ease of use, rich integration with back office accounting and several powerful payment & store management features.

We also announced a PC-based point-of-sale and integrated payments solution that we will deliver with First Data Corporation and HP. The solution is designed to revolutionize the way small retailers do business and process payments, driving a generational change in payments infrastructure.

We are very excited to get these products to market and look forward to feedback from our customers and partners.

# re: International version

Hello Rajat,

I have read currently only a US version is available, and a UK version is planned. I wondered, is it technically too complicate to make international versions, or is it logistically too complicate to understand the differences in law? And if the latter is the case, does the API allow to plug in the required changes?

If the API does not allow this, perhaps you should consider this for a next version?

If the API allows it, then would you be interested in working with ISVs to create a localized version?

Feel free to contact me directly.

Filip.
