I am not giving up on blogging about my PDC experience. Rather, I have decided
to wait until I have more value to offer. I have read so many blog entries on
the PDC with substantial and great coverage that I feel one more summary would have
little if no value.
Instead, I plan to write on the implications of the event.
How are we addressing your feedback? What fires were started. What inspirations
resulted? I already know of a couple of fires and innovations!!! So
rather than summarizing the event, I am dedicating my energies to absorbing
the feedback and have gone into evaluation mode.
We have already taken one action in WSE v2.0 as a result of the feedback from the
PDC. Attachments will be abstracted away so that migration to MTOM will
be more seemless.
And a combination of the "Women who Code Birds of a feather" and the keynote from
MS Research inspired me to investigate MathPad, purchasing of a Tablet, and I enrolling
in a tutoring program for young girls in technology.
More on this shortly...
