I went surfing yesterday for the first time since my knee surgery and feel awesome.  I am learning aspects of my life all over again.  I took the advice of my PT and did not push it.  Baby steps all the way.  3 waves and a very expensive speeding ticket later -- I am still smiling. ( I was a little too excited about the prospect of getting in the water. )

Last year I invited folks attending the Applied XML Developer's Conference to go to Cannon Beach/Oswald State Park after the event.  I think it would be awesome to do this again this year.  Let me know if you are interested.  I would love folks to surf with.
