MER is upon us!

One of the best records management conferences in the industry begins today: MER (Managing Electronic Records http://www.merconference.com). I am very honored to have the opportunity to give the opening keynote presentation which will mark the formal introduction of Microsoft’s Records Management functionality as part of both the new Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

This is a feature set that we’ve been working on for the better part of three years and I’m so excited to finally present this, in public, to all of the attendees of MER. I’ve got two presentations coming up in the next couple of days:

May 22nd: 10:30 AM

S02 - KEYNOTE ADDRESS: Introducing a New ERA in Managing Electronic Records - Introducing Office 2007 and a CASE STUDY of its use at Microsoft

May 23rd: 2:00 PM: MER Town Hall Discussion

S19 - (and S21) MER TOWN MEETING: Office 2007 from an ERM Perspective - Special Double Session ( Mike Alsup, Moderator)

If you are coming to MER, please feel free to stop by and say “Hi!” I’d love to meet you in person!

Wish me luck!

# re: MER is upon us!

Jason,

Is there any place we can see slides or contents from the MER conference?
