Conchango puts a nice little Vista Gadget out there for SQL Server

Besides being a good guy to work with, Jamie apparently moonlights as a Gadgeteer... (Well, maybe John is the Gadgeteer and Jamie's morphed into a program manager.)

He'll probably want to include it in the ETL Framework project, too.

Other than requiring a direct connection to your SQL Server and being huge download (~4MB) for a Gadget (should probably unbundle the video from the Gadget), it looks good. A little WCF or an HTTP endpoint from SQL Server and you'll fix that direct connect problem, too.
