Lucille K. Fustino, 88, of New Port Richey, died on May 4, 2008 after overcoming cancer for the past seven years. During the last six years Lucille lived with her loving and caring companion Michael Zink in New Port Richey. She worshipped at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church. Prior to this, Lucille lived at Gulf Harbors Condominium, and enjoyed life with her late dear friend Vincent Perricone. Born Lucille Kathleen Greco on August 24, 1919 in Laona, New York, she was one of eight children of the late Casper and Josephine Greco of Silver Creek, New York. Lucille attended Laona School District #4 Dunkirk, New York. She lived most of her adult life in Angola, New York with her late husband Russell J. Fustino and her three sons Richard, Gary, and Russell. They first resided with Russell Sr.’s mother Anna, his late sister Mary, and friend Millie Catalano. While in Angola, she attended Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church. The family built a ranch style home on Grove Street in Angola, New York, where they lived until moving to Florida in 1982. Lucille and Russell built their third home in Port Richey at Fox Run where she lived until 1991.

She was blessed to be survived by her sons, sister Stella Gambino, and brothers Joseph and Sam Greco. Late sisters and brothers include Josephine LoBello, Carmen Boscarino, and Larry and Sandy Greco. She is survived by many nieces and nephews; grandchildren Kristin Lioi, Lee Rene, Amy Lucille, Nicholas, Melissa, Jennifer, David, great grandson John Paul Lioi, daughter-in-laws Patricia and Bonnie, step granddaughter Tanya Chaffee and step grandson Ian Davis. Late grandchildren include Lynn Marie, Christopher Lee, and step grandson Andrew Chaffee.

Lucille worked as a seamstress at the New Era Cap™ factory and as a waitress at Cease’s New York State Thruway restaurant. From her early years into adulthood, she supported her brothers at the Greco Farms of Silver Creek New York, and business holdings, which included property in Daytona Beach, Florida. Lucille supported her children all her life. She loved cooking, sewing, swimming, and dancing. In Pasco County, she belonged to the Eagles & Moose Clubs, and went to the Knights of Columbus.

Public viewing hours are 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, May 6 at Michels & Lundquist Funeral Home (727-845-1957) at 5228 Trouble Creek Road, New Port Richey, FL 34652.
