Dude. Wow.

The new slides are slick.

I got a little homesick, by the way :) Wanted to see what you guys were up to.

I know a lot of people on the team couldn't stand me, but I still had a good time while it lasted.

Anyway, stuff looks good, and the swag is *quite* nice. I'm guessing you guys are presenting to packed theaters - probably also having to turn people away (thoughts of Anand getting jumped in SF for the giveaway - that was a crazy time).

And now, I have to get my head back in the all hands meeting I'm at (it was a slide in the meeting that prompted me to visit msdnevents.com and then your blog - we were looking at numbers from the field, and it felt really strange to be looking at numbers for the team I just left several months ago).

Yeah. Really have to go now.

Tah :)

Russ,

Amazing job in Madison, WI., yesterday; I have to agree with the quote you displayed (I forget the source) that personal computing is about to be revolutionized by Office '07, Vista, 3.0, Expression, etc.  Much of what you showed us yesterday will look to the general public like fire did to cavemen.  (I think the reaction will be similar as well -- it will terrify the majority of EUs, but they will know they must have it for themselves...)

I'm not sure if this is a simple or complicated question -- I would like to build something similar to the demo you showed that featured the population overlays on the VE maps of Redmond.  Where would I start?

Thanks for the show!

I'll second Chris' comment from earlier today!

Great job yesterday... lots of good info and you presented it well.

Thanks for all the good work on teaching all of us the survival info we need!

I attended the launch event in Ft. Lauderdale on February 20, which, as you know, was interupted by a gas leak at the hotel, and never resumed.  I was wondering when and how the Office 2007 Pro & Groove software will be given out, since we were told after the leak that it would be sent out, but since then, I have not been able to find out any information at all on this from Microsoft?
