Software Architecture, Engineering and Stuff
That intro I promised

Righty-ho then… after all that excitement, time for my intro…

I’m an Architect and Manager in the UK’s Developer and Platform group. I do this wierd player/manager role that means that I get to split my time between helping enterprise architects and developers see the light with respect to the Windows platform and working with esteemed UK bloggers like Mr Platt, Mr Sneath and Mr Gristwood.

I’ve been at Microsoft for just over 5 years (just got a lovely pen to celebrate it!) and spent lots of years working for software houses and one of the big consultancies before joining. I’m intending to blog about things I’m doing, what I’m going to be doing, what I’d like to be doing, how to make software better and other bits and bobs that take my fancy – hopefully all will converge from time to time!

Nice meeting you!
