Top 10 Worst Software

Check out John Dvorak's list of the 10 worst software packages of all time:
10. Microsoft Bob
9. Combined Category: Dead Programming Languages
8. MicroPro Easy
7. Windows 1.0
6. Access (the telecom program, not the database)
5. TopView
4. Lotus Symphony and Lotus Jazz
3. Framework
2. Microsoft OS/2
1. VisiOn

Never heard of these? Waddya, one of them young punks with no sense of software history? Used any of these? How does it feel to be old enough to be the father of those young punks you work with?

Ya know, I threw out my copy of Access during my last office move :)

The guy who cleans my house still uses Bob. He loves it.

I don't if John Dvorak qualifies to make any lists. I have been reading his column in PC Mag for many years now and I think he has lost it.
He does not believe that "innovation" exists in the software industry. Go figure..

No list of worst things is complete without Win 95, 98 and ME. They are the stamps used for certifying worst things!

Everyone's always dissin' Bob. But surely it deserves more credit ... it is after all where Clippy was born.
